It is very important for people to be properly vaccinated. Vaccines can protect people for over 20 diseases. The vaccine doesn’t just protect yourself but protects others by not letting the disease spread. It’s the law to be vaccines before school and other events. Being properly vaccinated is very important to many people.
By getting your vaccines, you are protecting yourself from many different diseases. Some diseases that the vaccine protects are mumps, rubella, measles, hepatitis B, polio, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, HiB disease, and chickenpox. These diseases can be very serious if you do not get vaccinated. Vaccines do not prevent you from minor colds, but minor colds are okay to get.
Vaccines don’t just protect yourself but they always protect others too. If you do not get your vaccine, you are more likely to catch a disease and spread it to other people. Certain people cannot get vaccinated do to pregnancy, or people going through cancer, and newborns who are too young to get vaccinated. The schools do not want to chance getting the whole school sick with any disease. You also can get travel out of the country if you did not get the correct shots you need. They do not want diseases be spread to the other country or diseases brought back home. Some places it’ the law to be vaccinated to prevent the disease.
