Cardiovascular disease is the one of leading causes of death in the United States and obesity, due to unhealthy nourishment, is at the root cause of this problem. This essay examines how cardiovascular disease (which can lead to heart attacks, strokes, etc.), diabetes, and even the risk of cancer can be slowed down or diminished respectively, with a wholesome plant-based diet. The possible benefits and risks, and the effects on overall health with following a vegan diet will be further examined.

This makes the body more susceptible to infectious diseases, which is dangerous for people who are diabetic.
