Veteran funerals are filled with ceremonies. Many people are sad for the loss of a friend, family member, and soldier. All of the ceremonies have hidden meanings behind them. Veteran funerals are filled with many ceremonies and meanings; benefits and laws are all included in these events. Veteran funerals are filled with many ceremonies. One ceremony is horse drawn carriages. Horse drawn carriages are often used to transport the casket to the burial sight. When horse drawn carriages are used all of the horses are saddled. The horses on the right don't have any riders on them. The riderless horses represent the lost of a soldier. One of these songs would be “America the Beautiful” (Mossman, Stark). One ceremonial song played at every military funeral is a song called taps (“Historian Explains”).
