In the past two to three centuries from the times of Greek and Roman times people have already begun observing other’s individual self being such as characteristic. These characteristics are known to be ethical behavior and people who like your character tend to be around you or have you in a team, have more fans, and etc. This paper will discuss the similarities and differences of what is called virtue theory, utilitarianism, and deontological ethics. In addition to this paper, it will include a personal experience that relates to at least one of the theories explained above. Virtue theory is basically a person’s character but is referring to the excellence of that character. Virtue ethics also refers that through the time of living your life a person should encourage excellence in anything that you and others do whether is moral or non-moral. Then that individual means that he might not be playing in the team rather just seat in the bench, but he does this for the better of the team. Deontological ethics is more about regarding choices that are morally
