Vmware Vsphere 5 is an enhanced set of tools for cloud computing, with many new improvements to extend the benefits of vSphere 4.1. The new features provide enhancements to the core capabilities such as performance optimization, easier provisioning, monitoring and troubleshooting. An example is the improvements of the Vcenter Server, such as removing the need to buy a Windows os license to install Vcenter and the ability to access the Vsphere web client, therefore making it more appealing and easier to use. Finally the core improvement of the vSphere 5 is the hyper visor, which comes in the form of vmware ESXI. Vmware ESXI installs and runs without the need for linux based service consoles, whilst still providing all the same virtualization capabilities.
