There are many activities readily available on the Cairngorm Mountain itself. Why not travel up the Cairngorm mountain funicular railway? Around five minutes from Aviemore is the Rothiemurchus Estate. Here you will find many fantastic woodland walks, that when walked in the snow is like a fairytale come to life. Also in the estate there are a couple of shops, and a small café. Here you can take a break and enjoy the sheer beauty of the area whilst you rest.
