Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901, in Hermosa, Illinois. Walt grew up in Burbank, Canada where he spent most of his life. When he was 17 he dropped out of high school to serve in World War 1. When he came back from the War he wanted to create an amusement park he just didn’t know what all to have in it or where he wanted it. He ended up making Disneyland and Disney World with help from his brother and friends. His father was a strict, religious and abusive to his children. His mother is a grammar teacher and was always there for the kids. His mother's name is Flora Call Disney and his fathers name is Elias Disney.
