War in Syria DBQ Essay The wars in Syria are serious because their wars never stop they are always going. The many wars killed many of innocent lives that were not cherished correctly. There were so many young ones that died. Many Syrians were forced to flew their homes and leave all of their belongings. Serious conflict started from peaceful protest against the government in 2011 to a violent war that has brought in many other countries. The Syrian war started as something small. People were protesting the cruel treatment of teenaagers who wrote antigovernment grafitties onn a wall. The Syrian People were getting upset that the government wasn’t doing anything about it. So they called on their president for guidance. Instead of guiding the people of Syria in a peaceful direction, he responded with violence and said the peaceful protesters were no match for the Syrian government. That’s what started the whole the whole thing. The pro-government is fighting every opposing group which shows how much violence and deaths they are causing, but one of the Islamic groups, ISIS is also heavy fighting everyone. Since ISIS’s appearance in 2012 and 2013, ISIS was group with an international profile and extremist views of Islamic Rule. In result to this, there have been a lot of deaths estimates reported. In early 2016 there has been an estimate of about 250,000 to 470,000 deaths due to the Syrian war. So far there has been more deaths by innocent civilians in the war than the actual soldiers in the war. This war has claimed the lives of more than a quarter of a million people. Lots of children can no longer go to school because their school has been destroyed or there are no teachers because they left the war because of the violence.
