His character was known as the “Laziest Man In The World” because of his lazy actions. Although an aspiring actor, he was seen as an embarrassment to the African American race, which ended his career. Between 1930 and 1950, the Warner Brothers and many other small independent studios produced thousands of cartoons that continued racially profiling African Americans. Portraying African American as not decent human beings, the stereotype showed them as poor or greatly impoverished because most of the pickaninnies did not have decent clothes. People also thought that the pickaninnies were poor because they were always hungry and they stole to eat.
