According to Hanson W. Baldwin at 9:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 11 there was a warning of the icebergs from the Caronia and the Californian. The warning was ignored, by doing this the Titanic had a more likely chance of hitting the icebergs. There were 377 first class, 285 second class, 721 third class, and 885 crew members. The warnings were ignored and even after they found out it was true not everyone survived. There were some who survived from each class and crew, those who did not survive of the passengers were people who either didn't think it was true since it is told to be unsinkable or were not let on a lifeboat. The ship is best known as the Titanic, everyone was told it was best to travel on the ship since it was said to be unsinkable. On Thursday, April 11 at 9:00 A.M. was when the long voyage to New York took a turn for the worst. The Titanic had been sent a number of warnings of icebergs in the way. Multiple times the warnings were ignored, when the warning came again the message was sent up to the bridge. When the icebergs were seen the crew members in charge of the bridge were told to go faster. They soon got stuck after underestimating the size of the bergs. Life was to precious at that moment to go back to get anything. Some women made their husband promise to get in a lifeboat as soon as they could. They put faith in their husbands and fathers. The total number of those that perished is not clear. We do know that the first class and second class were more important than the third class. Some of the third class when they would jump from the windows to get into a lifeboat were shot. This shows how much the third class wanted to get off of the Titanic. There was enough room on the boats for everyone. There were 35 people in some of the lifeboats (Miss Laura, para
