Benito Mussolini was one of the four leaders who began WWII. He was well known for being a fascist dictator ready to take over the world with Adolf Hitler. In particular, he brought fascism into many countries such as Canada which led to many violent conflicts within the country. Secondly, Benito Mussolini was responsible for countless numbers of Italian-Canadians brutally being disrespected. Lastly, Benito Mussolini and his allies declared war with Canada and other countries which made them very unprepared for the future of the war. Firstly, Mussolini had declared war with Britain which brought Canada into war as well but as an independent country. Their troops were made up of black, aboriginal and other non-white people. This advanced the cause of civil rights in Canada. Italians were not allowed to join the war but they were allowed to help and produce ammunition. Moreover, Canadian forces were eventually ready, most combat was targeted towards Italy because of the effects Mussolini had brought into Canada.
