Could a religious leader who thinks he can solve everyone’s problems actually be the cause of multiple deaths? The Religious leader in question is none other than Friar Laurence in William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Friar Lawrence was the cause of many lives ending, because he was a religious leader in the church and he married them for a very selfish reason. After he has already created a disaster, he continues to make it worse by giving Juliet and many others faulty advice. Furthermore he provides Juliet with the means to perform a plan that would ultimately result in her demise. All these things considered, Friar Lawrence is the most at fault for the deaths of several characters in William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
