When you dream do you feel like anything is possible? No dreams are too big or too small. In the past couple of weeks we have read some books and watches some videos that informed us about dreams. It taught us the negative and positive sides of dreaming. I believe that it is worth it to dream. I believe that it is worth it to dream because If you don’t dream you won't ever push yourself and work hard to achieve something, It teaches you how to not give up even when you feel like you can't do it, and If your dream comes true the reward is amazing.

One reason to dream is if someone doesn't dream they won’t ever push yourself and work hard to achieve something. For example in the book “We Beat the Street” all three of the boys had dreams and they pushed each other and encouraged each other to achieve there dreams. Also in class we watched a video on a boy named Austin Hatch. In the video it explained how he wanted to play basketball when he got older. Even after Austin survived 2 plane crashes and losing most of his family he still never gave up on his dream. In both of these examples it shows the determination they had. They did not give up even when they encountered some obstacles.

They believe that it is not worth it to dream because they believe that most of the time dreams do not come true even when one works hard for it. They believe that dreams don’t bring happiness but they bring horrible consequences, like in the book “The Pearl”. In “The Pearl” the main character finds this great pearl that was supposed to bring him happiness and joy but instead it only brought horrible consequences for his family and himself. However I still believe that it is worth it to dream because if one doesn't dream at all you will never achieve anything, dreaming teaches you how to not give up even when you feel like you can't do it, and if your dream comes true the reward is
