Footlocker is a multi million dollar company that is in place all around the world. They have many stores located in North America, Europe, etc. Selling sports equipment is a complicated industry that takes some very good strategy to make it run right. So, Foot Locker has come up with a very interesting strategy that they go by. The company will use athletes that people watch on a daily basis in their commercials talking about how Footlocker is the best option to buy all of your sports apparel. When people see athletes that they look up too saying that Footlocker is the best they will also believe that Footlocker is the best. When you are trying to sell your product to kids, first you have to appeal to the kids, but also the parents have to know that the product they are receiving is something of high quality, so if you spend time to make sure you are advertising your product and appealing to the parents of the children and not just the children. So there are pathos, logos and ethos. They all mean something totally different but are all in the same type of family. The three have to do with appeals and the different types of appeals that you will see on a daily basis. In a Foot Locker ad you see many different types of athletes that people are watching on the TV on a day to day basis. So, when these kids see athletes that they watch and look up to wearing a certain type of product, they are going to want that product. When a company sets out to sale a certain type of product they will give it their best effort to do that. When someone looks at a company's sales they are going to want to know the quality of the product being sold, the price of the product is also very important to lots of people. So, when Foot Locker puts out an ad they want it to be very effective. The company's main goal is to sale their product and make money. Foot Locker will use logos as one of their main strategies in advertising because they want people to know facts about the way that they are better than some other company. They will use pathos and logos mainly. Foot Locker is confident in what they are presenting. They know it has worked in the past and they are very confident that it will continue to work in the future. Also, when Foot Locker uses NBA players playing basketball with all of these younger kids they are trying to appeal to the emotions of the parents of Kids who are going to want some type of product. They want these parents to know that it is about more than money to them. These are pathos because they are appealing to someone’s emotions.
In the end Foot Locker is a multi million dollar company that has been working very smoothly for many years. They have not had many problems with people not wanting to buy their product that they are selling. The main competition that you see for Foot Locker is the other stores
