Weight Watchers is a diet program that incorporates food choices that help you lose weight. This is done by giving knowledge to the individuals who want to lose weight by teaching them portion control along with healthy choices. Jean Nidetch was the co-founder of the program; she began to plan the diet program in the early 1960’s. She believed that dieting is the most effective way to lose and manage your weight. Many celebrities endorse the program who include, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Hudson and many more. They use their experiences on the product to motivate potential customers to also try the program. The basic procedure for getting started with Weight Watchers is, “…You fill out a form with your age, gender, height, and current weight.
