Welding Technology is a class designed for welding (WLT). Welding is instructed by Jack Holley. There is more to welding class than welding. It involves using a cutting torch, a welder, a plasma cutter, and a shear cutter. A cutting torch is an easy to use way to cut metals. A safety test must be passed in order to use the shear cutter.
There’s alot of benefits about being in Welding Tech. There's a transportation project that is fun to do. First, take scrap metal and weld an object together. It could be a car, an airplane, or a tank. Anything that can be imaged would work. This project helps students with fabrication abilities. Its fun and also interesting. Jack Holley is the instructor and does a nice job at teaching the students in welding
