In the book “Ungifted” by Gordon Korman the main character Donovan Curtis gets into major trouble with his school, but luckily he accidently got transferred to the gifted academy. Donovan must try and not let Dr. Schultz find him while he hides as an “Ordinary student” that everyone loves. The main character Donovan changed from being reckless to cautious because of his major accident of hitting the atlas and having the globe fall off. At first he was being stupid. “I cocked the branch back, and unloaded a home run swing. The impact vibrated from my hands, to my brain stem and every cell in my body.
