1) What are the three base calendars included in MS Project and what are the default values of each?

The three base calendars are Standard, Night Shift and 24 Hours. The default values of standard are calculated week days from 8am to 12pm and 1pm to 5pm. The default values of night shift are weeks days from 11pm to 3am, and 4am to 8am, also Saturday from 11pm to 3am and 4am to 8am. 24hrs is something like continuous working in manufacturing section. The machine is running 24hrs 7 days a week hence it requires a resource to supervise the system. Also, contractors or real estate agents are working 24hrs once the job require. They don’t have holidays or vacations.

2) What is the difference between a base calendar and a resource calendar?

The base calendar is for everyone working usual days and times and holidays for a group of resources. a resource calendar is for a resource who is assigned to work in particular days and hours. It includes their vacations and holidays.

3) Why schedule one project meeting after completion of the last task, Test System?

This regards as a meeting to finalize the particular sub-project whether it was successful system test. If the test was successful, the project team will be approved to move forward with their duties or projects. If the test was a failure, the team will troubleshoot the issue how to overcome the issue to move on the current project.
