What Caused Macbeth's Inevitable Event?

What caused the Macbeth’s inevitable event? Was it because of the external forces he experienced, or his own choice had led to the cause? Someone might believe that Macbeth was under a little perception of free will or he was affected by the super natural subjects, like gods. In my opinion, this is not true. Unfortunately, Macbeth was the victim of his own choice due to his conscious thoughts, didn’t care about of contrasting things, and his personal objectives and plans.
In the first act of Macbeth, Macbeth had hard time to decide whether he should choose to kill the Duncan, who was the king of the Scottish. However at the end, Macbeth set his mind and assassin the king, and become thane of the Kingdom, just like the prophecy foretell. This

After the prophecy told Macbeth that he and Banquo’s offspring will became the thane of Cawdor, Banquo found out that the prophecies contained some descriptions that are not clear, and confusing. Being a close friend of the Macbeth, and realizing the possible risks that could happen in the future, Banquo warned Macbeth, “The instruments of darkness tell us truths, Win us with honest trifles, to betray’s, In deepest consequence" In Act 1. After being told that there might have an insidious outcome of the prophecies, Macbeth ignored this warning to focus on how he would get the power to become the throne. Macbeth with his wife, spending a long period of time, thinking whether to kill Duncan. Macbeth’s unconsciously caused him to see illusions, like can see a dagger pointing towards Duncan’s bedroom. Unfortunately Macbeth acted on this illusion, and which was created by his own imagination and made the final decision to murder King Duncan. If it was not what he desired from his internal temptations, Macbeth may have considered other ways and not murdering Duncan; regardless, he freely continued to think deeply and entertain the idea of slaughters and committing the horrified
