Some importnat things that happened in the 60’s were the Berlin wall was built. The Beatles produced their first album “My Bonnie” and Marilyn Menroe was found and pronounced dead. Although we have better technology today, people in the 60’s were happier without all the technology we have today. The 60’s were a way better place to live rather than modern day. If youn lived in the 1960’s you could of witnessed the creation of midicare and medicaid. The Voting Rights Act of 1965 was signed for African American’s to be able to vote. One last thing that happened in the 60’s was “West Side Story” was released.
