The field of criminal justice concentrates on implementing effective public safety procedures and reducing criminal behavior through the study of crime and criminals. Knowledge is gained through the study of the criminal justice programs, which can combine legal studies, political science, psychology, sociology, philosophy, criminology, forensic science, urban studies, and public administration.
