Antigone = Treason
Thank you all for coming to trial today. This court session is for the law of treason, I am here to prove Antigone has broken this law. Treason is the crime of betraying one’s country, especially by attempting to kill the sovereign or overthrow the government. There is a few things I would like to point out a few things to prove that Antigone is guilty. One of the things I am going to talk about is that our country is weak and we don’t need law breakers at this time in our city. We are more vulnerable than usual times. Our king needs to worry about rebuilding Thebes and making our city better not people who want to break our laws just because of her brother, she knows the rules and she knows she shouldn’t break them.
