College is something that all people should attend so that they have more options in their lives. Many people believe that it is no longer necessary for student to receive more education after high school and that students should be able to not go to college without family judging them. Many people also say that college is still something that is very important for students to experience and get through because of the benefits you get afterwards. Students need a college education so that they can do better things in their lives for them and for the rest of the world. The article “Actually college is worth it” States that “Ron Haskins of the Brookings Institution found that without a college degree, only 14 percent of Americans from the bottom fifth of parental income reach the top two-fifths.” This means that if you graduate from college you are going to be able to earn more money that people who didn't and this means that you will most likely be able to get nicer things that other people. This also means that your income will be a lot better compared to how it was before going to college. The article “Actually college is worth it” also states that “Education gives you choices. Assuming you don’t pile up mountains of debt that constrain your career options (and that outcome is avoidable) or go to a school where just fogging a mirror is good enough to get a diploma, there are not a lot of downsides to going to college.” This is telling us that if you go to college and really put some dedication to your education, then you do fine and have many great opportunities in your life.
