Since the Imperialism got to China its economy improved. This caught the attention of a lot of European countries like France and Russia, and also Japan. They were interested mainly in how they could create important trade routes and exchange the natural resources that China had. Looking for that, the European powers realized how weak was China, politically and in the military, so they decided to colonized China. Because of growing wealth people started move there from all around the world, which impacted its culture. This led to more diversity in their ways of eat, traditions and religion.
