The song I selected is called West End Blues by Louis Armstrong. If I were to make a prediction for this song I could see someone listening to this song and swaying his or her body to the soft, smooth sound of it. I could see them tapping there toes and having a happy expression. Stated in chapter 10 of Hodges and Sebald text it say “Physical responses are external, readily, observable, reflexive motor movements such as facial gestures, foot tapping, head nodding, or body swaying”pg184. The book also states “Natural responses to music include body movement such as head nodding body sprain finger snapping and foot tapping the music often causes a desire to move” pg186. This song is definitely the type of song to get someone moving and foot tapping.
