Natural Law is a universal philosophy traditionally used by a source of religion, it is derived from the human belief that everything comes from nature, and that everything in nature has a purpose. The Greeks believed in this conception and they dominated the western civilization for over 1,700 years. Our purpose is to live a good and happy life, anything that stands against that purpose is considered unnatural and immoral. For instance there are four main principles that derive from the Natural Law:
Non-Maleficence, Beneficence, Totality of the Body, and Double Effect. While abortions are legal under certain conditions in most countries, the conditions range very widely. These conditions are to save a woman’s life, to preserve a woman’s health and mental health, in case of rape or incest, fetus impairment, economic or social reasons, and just on request. Not all countries believe that every situation is an ethical or moral decision for abortion. Many Christians believe that abortion is wrong due to their belief; the question of whether or not abortion is wrong depends on whether or not you believe aborting a fetus is murder.
