Not long after the Supreme Court chose that Indians couldn't hold a title to their property. Tribes attempt to oppose as much as they could, without violence. In 1830 Andrew Jackson made the Indian Removal Act. Which stated that Indians had to move east and surrender their property in the west. Trying to be as peaceful as possible, the Indians resisted. So Americans constrained them to clear out. A few Indians, in any case, chose to stay, however, that did not sit well with numerous Americans.
