There are situations where a little decision could make a big difference, whether for better or worse, it comes down to choice. When there is a choice between doing something that is right or doing something that is wrong, some people may decide wrong is an easier choice. Some could base their decisions on the path of least resistance, rather than thinking of what is the best way to accomplish the task. Decisions can affect values, integrity, and the outcomes of life and those associations. I can choose options that are better for me, but may harm another, or I could choose options that can, perhaps, hinder me and prove more helpful to another, while helping me remain true to myself and my values.

A young woman may have been taken advantage of and impregnated may not want the baby.The reasons may be that she is not able care for the baby. The baby may remind her of the trauma induced pregnancy. The young woman may also have a certain set of standards, values or beliefs that abortion is wrong. The young woman would then have a decision to make, either keep the baby, give the baby up for adoption, or to get an abortion. The choice she makes could completely change her life forever. If that individual were to fail the test, they could not get into the college that has been dreamt of since infancy. Let's say a friend comes along with all the answers to the test and attempts to coerce him to cheat. This person may already in a weakened state because of stress and fear of letting people down. Because of the rationalization of the situation, this person may cheat even though it goes against all they stand for. Being dishonest in this situation may help them in the moment but, may change the values and morals that have been learned in the past. The future may then be filled with dishonesty and a flawed
