Being an American is so much more than just a stereotypical definition. Being an American means having unalienable Rights, being free, and having the rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. To be an American to me, means that you are blessed enough have freedoms that many other countries do not have access to, an example could be the Amendments.Us as Americans have the right to practice our religion freely, the right to bare arms for our own protection, freedom of speech and press plus more. America offers many astounding opportunities such as free education, America is sometimes referred to as the land of opportunities. In my opinion a general American often takes America for granted, we look at money as the base of everything, when there are other nations scongering for food. I am more than proud to be an American and getting to enjoy the luxuries that come along with being an American, however Foreigners think that Americans are all super wealthy when that is far from the truth.
