Our loving first president, the father of our country George Washington, 67 years old has passed away December 15,1799 after a heroic fight with many different diagnoses. George Washington departed his life in Mount Vernon, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents Augustine Washington and Mary Ball Washington. George will truly be missed by family and friends. The first president, George Washington was born February 22, 1732 in Westmoreland County, Virginia to Augustine Washington and Mary Ball Washington. He attended home school, studied at the local church sexton, but later became a schoolmaster in math, geography, Latin, and also English Classics. George was a Commander in Chief of the continental army during the American Revolutionary from 1775 to 1783. Then soon after he was elected for the first United States president to serve two terms from 1789 until 1797.

As we all know Washington didn't have any excuses he just wanted to get the job done. When you think of Washington, you just sit there and think of all he accomplished throughout life. His important accomplishments he was a commander-in-chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolution, led U.S. to victory in the decisive land battle of the American Revolutionary War, seize power due to his commitment to American republicanism, became the first President of the United States in 1789, suppressed the Whiskey Rebellion, issued the Proclamation of Neutrality to protect U.S. from war in Europe, and also Washington signed off by writing a Farewell Address to the people of America. Visitation is scheduled 2-4 p.m and 6-8pm. Sunday at the Crane Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Virginia. The funeral will take place 11 a.m Monday at the Crane Funeral
