Most people may argue that money is always the answer. No matter what you are going through money can always turn things around. In my opinion money can't always bring happiness to someone. Yes, it can help avoid the problem that are there but it can't fully take them away. In A Christmas Carol,even though money plays an important role it does not hold the answers to everything.
Most people's mindset is that the more money you have the more people will respect you that is the case with Ebenezer Scrooge. Everything thinks that he is so powerful and happy in life when that is not the case at all. Yes money has its advantages but it is also a curse. Richer in the sense of happiness, the way he is with his family. Even though Bob does not has that much and has a big family he still stays and works with Scrooge with a poor salary out of dedication. Back in 1843 women did not have that many rights and they were looked as less than men. Bob did not really see it that way, he cared for all of his children equally no matter the gender the love was shared. Scrooge shuts out family and the whole world until he is visited by marley's ghost and the three ghost of Christmas (Past, present, and yet to come). Which then changes his whole outlook on life and then opens up to family and love just like Bob Cratchit was the whole time.
Things has to be handled differently, some things needs more effort than other things and money can not always fix everything. In my opinion, the whole point of A Christmas Carol is a cartoon like way to show the true meaning in life and christmas. You can not be so closed off even if you have been hurt, you have to let others in. Being alone hurts more than the possibility of letting others in and them hurting you.
