What should be included in the group project report: 1. Abstract (1 paragraph). This should give a brief summary what you did and your findings. 2. A brief history of your companies and the industry in which they operate (1 page). 3. Accounting and reporting of the following items for your companies: a. Accounting policies and comparison with international accounting standards b. Financial statements, including segment and geographic information c. Corporate governance, ethical issues, and other disclosures d. Discuss the auditors’ report and evaluation of internal controls e. Discuss any extraordinary items and/or goodwill impairment in the past three years and their long-term effect on your thinking of your ultimate investment recommendation 4. Do a ratio analysis of your companies and compare with industry standards. 5. Discussion and analysis of managerial accounting issues, including product mix, operating leverage, and break-even analysis.

Your report should be 8 to 10 pages, double-spaced, not including financial statements, ratios, graphs, and charts, which should be included as appendices. Each group member will provide a confidential evaluation of each of the other members in your group.
