Goldilocks and the three bears related to Where The Lilies Bloom? Seems impossible, but I will show you how it’s very possible. The authors for Where The Lilies Bloom are Vera and Bill Cleaver. The main characters in these two books are Mary Call and Goldilocks. Goldilocks was considered selfish but when Mary Call does similar things she wasn’t always considered selfish. “We couldn’t take anything, if we did it’d be stealing,” Mary Call said this on page 35. During this scene they were in Kiser’s house after helping him and Romey wanted to take some of his food because he figured they deserved it. Mary Call did put up a fight but in the end they stole food but still left an IOU note. Goldilocks went into the three bears house and ate their food. Mary Call saw this when Romey put a fake stuffed bear out to scare away Mrs.Connell who was trying to come when she was unwanted. Goldilocks saw the same thing when she was woken up by a bear rightfully so considering she was in their bed. The bear wasn’t meant for Mary and them but the bear was meant to be seen by Goldilocks. Both bears scared the life out of the people they were meant to scare.

As you can see both stories have very similar scenes but just changes some by the uniqueness of each individual story. Where The Lilies Bloom is overall a very different story then Goldilocks and the Three Bears but somehow they can be tied together. This was all important by showing how stories you would never even think to be alike can be very alike in some
