The notion of individuals having white privileges is another discussion that sparked my interest. After this discussion, I realized that to many people, including myself, it is a topic that we feel like we have sufficient knowledge on, yet it is a difficult matter to fully understand it. McIntosh’s “White Privilege” is an essay that supplemented our discussion on white privilege. I have learned that people, especially white individuals do not completely realize that they have many advantages in their everyday lives.
