Salem’s Lot is about Ben Mears, a writer who decides to come home after 25 years, and his fight against evil. As soon as he arrives in town he strikes up many new relationships the most important being a romantic relationship with Susan Norton. However perfect his life might seem everything goes downhill when a strange business duo, Barlow and Straker, arrive in town. Later on Ben is in the fight of a lifetime against the head vampire, Barlow. Ben is determined to defeat Barlow after all the pain he has caused the small town.
