I cannot believe she lied. She lied to Danforth on the court. How dare she! But they danced in the woods and drank the blood of chickens. Abigail says that she can no longer see the spirits. Abigail in my eyes is the devil, she not only lied that she was called a whore by John Procter and she had an affair with him John told a different story to Elizabeth Proctor who is lying Elizabeth or John.

(Reverend Hale starts pacing)
What would God want to want me to do? Praise the Lord! What would he say? He would want me to expose a liar. Elizabeth is lying about John and Abigail. Even though they have revealed their affair to the court so why do Elizabeth lying? If I spread the word to the people of Salem, Elizabeth Proctor is a child of the devil then I can save them all from the devil himself making me look like the hero. What if Abigail cannot be removed from Salem! What have we brought him here in the first place? How could we remove the devil from Salem? You must find justice for John Proctor, Abigail is the perpetrator of all of this hysteria. She managed to whip up the whole town in some sort of frenzy so she must be the only way to get Salem back to normality. Danforth only sees and wants the truth. That all townspeople just want witches and the devil to be gone from Salem. John will never accept the fact he signed his dignity and name away. But Abigail and John can no longer be close. We must exile her for the greater good of Salem. God would insist on the removal of such a disturbance. If we can get Abigail to leave then the town will be somewhat normal. No one will have any faith in Rev. Paris; which means I will be expecting more people at my services and that means more donations.
