Reading through Beloved Sethe, the mother of Denver and Paul D, the mothers boyfriends are ignorant on the life and death situation. Meanwhile, Denver is very mature for her age and she understands life and death. In the story Denver’s father get insulted by Paul D in front of Sethe, and Paul D thinks that she does not understand but she does.
