Who Is Nadira In Skybreaker

Within the intense plot of the novel Skybreaker, the author Kenneth Oppel attempts and successfully develops a number of characters. Some of the well-developed characters include Matt, Kate, Nadira, and Hal. All of these characters are developed so that they are similar in some ways, but are each uniquely different in a numerable amount of ways. If I were to find myself in the setting of the novel, I would want to select Nadira as a friend. This is because Nadira has the most unique personality, and getting to know her better would be like a door opening to a whole new world. Nadira has many unique traits that can be further analyzed. It is evident that she is audacious, amiable, optimistic, and bold. Nadira is a mysterious gypsy girl that had a pirate as a father. If I were to be friends with Nadira, she would open up to me sooner or later, and the mysteries of her life would be solved. One of my first impressions of her was when she was leading Matt off the roof, and was running and jumping from roof to roof, all while John Rath was shooting at her. Nadira is brave enough to attempt this, whereas the average girl would be busy knitting. Nadira’s determination and willingness to take risks distinguishes herself from everyone else in the story. While she was aboard the Hyperion, Nadira had suffered from the high altitude and the lack of oxygen. She still fought on and offered to help Matt and the others retrieve the blueprints even though she was weakened. Through these actions, we can tell that Nadira has courage, and is loyal to her friends, since she did not regard what state she was in and wanted to help her friends retrieve the blueprints. Nadira herself is also fascinated with Grunel’s aerial city, and would not want the blueprints to fall into the hands of Barton and the Aruba
