I feel that Elizabeth Proctor was the most faitful character in The Crucible. Faithful means being devoted to something or someone. Elizabeth was devoted to John Proctor, and their marriage. Elizabeth is the most faithful character to me because she was honest; even though John committed adultery she stayed by her husband's side. Faithful also means being honest. Elizabeth was always honest with her husband. Elizabeth encouraged her husband to keep his pride. She knew he wouldn't be who he is without his pride. Elizabeth looked out for John and never let anyone change the way she felt about her husband. She lied to the court to protect John. She never judged her husband. “ I cannot judge you, John, i cannot!”
