Adolf Hitler “Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live.” -Adolf Hitler. This essay will be over Adolf Hitler, leader of the Nazis and murderer of the Jews and countless others. Hitler got his point across to the Jews that he clearly did not want them around. He blamed them for the loss of World War II. In my opinion, I think he blamed them because they were not like him. When I say not like him I mean that they were not German or his race. Hitler was elected chancellor or legal official, for balance because he lost presidency to Paul von Hindenburg in 1932. Hitler with his position brought his legislative powers up for four years by forming a dictatorship and passing the Enabling act. By doing what he did with his power he made it to where his Nazi party was the only legal one in 1933. With an improving economy, Hitler claimed credit and consolidated his position as a dictator, having succeeded in eliminating challenges from other political parties for war. In November 1937, he was comfortable enough to call his top military aides together at the “Führer Conference,” when he outlined his plans for a war of aggression in Europe. Those who objected to the plan were dismissed. In 1938, Hitler led a massive attack on the Jews known as the Night of Broken Glass. 15,000 Jews were expelled from Germany. Mob violence broke out as the regular German police stood by and crowds of spectators watched. Nazi storm troopers along with members of the Schutzstaffel, or SS which was an organization under Hitler, and Hitler Youth, which was an extension of belief from Hitler about Germany being his children, beat and murdered Jews, broke into and wrecked Jewish homes, and brutalized Jewish women and children.
