The 44th president Barack Obama faced adversity when he was a kid and in doing so he became a great man. Obama learned at a young age that black people were treated differently compared to white people, his father left him with his mother and his grandparents to go pursue his education, and when he was a child, Obama moved around a lot. When Obama was 9 years old, he was living in Indonesia, with his mom and stepdad, his mom worked at the U.S. embassy, so he would spend his time reading magazines. Obama remembered while in the embassy, he found an article about “a black man who had destroyed his skin with powerful chemicals” to make himself white, but instead peeled his skin off.
