The history of climate change has been heavily documented over the past century. Documentation illustrates that scientists and organizations have studied climate change in the past and offers interesting statistics that support and oppose its actual existence. Scientists believe ozone-depleting substances are defined by the EPA as any chemical that breaks down under ultraviolet light and releases chlorine or bromine atoms. Some scientists believe these are to blame for climate change.
