Romeo is the one who causes all the problems in the story The Tragedy Romeo and Juliet just like what normally happens in life - men cause all the problems. If Romeo had not been so stupid to go to a party he was not invited to especially since he knew he shouldn’t belong and had to wear a mask, he also kissed Juliet within minutes of knowing her not once but twice, he is to blame because all the deaths he caused or were a part of, Romeo also pressured the apothecary to sell him illegal things. Romeo never thought about his actions and their consequences. Although Romeo did cause lots of issues in the tragedy the Friar has a part of it too - the Friar gave potion to fake a teenage girl's death because she supposedly “fell in love” with Romeo who she just met. Friar is also to blame because he sent a letter with Friar John which had the plan of Juliet's “death” for Romeo-which lead to death of three people because Friar John couldn’t do one simple job. Friar had given Juliet the potion..he trusted a teenage girl that she needed something when he knew that she had just met Romeo - that is plain stupid. “If thou hast the strength of will to slay himself take thou this vial no warmth no breath to testify”(Shakespeare 453). If Friar had never given her the potion none of them would be dead and Paris and Juliet would be living happily. Another reason Friar is to blame is because he trusted someone with such news that is actually a sleazebag and can’t deliver the letter of her “death” and the plan. “This should be the same voice of Friar John….what says Romeo?.....One out of order, to associate me Here in the city visiting the sick, suspecting that we both were in a house Where the infectious pestilence did reign sealed the doors”(Shakespeare 470).
