Why Boundaries Are Important

Though many people dislike boundaries, I think that they are an important part of everyone’s life. In the books that I have read this quarter, (The Outsiders and The Scorch Trials) there were many examples of Boundaries or No Boundaries that prove my point. Boundaries are important.

My first reason for why boundaries are important is that some parents don’t set boundaries for their children, which sets them up for a rough life ahead of them. In The Outsiders, there was a character named Johnny who had abusive parents who didn’t set boundaries. This bad parenting caused Johnny to think negatively of life.
