Why Cheating is Wrong Cheating is wrong because it isn’t fair to the people who actually do the work. It’s unfair to them because you're claiming ownership off of their work. Cheating does not benefit the cheater because they personally are not learning the information. Cheating destroys the trust you have with people. After I cheated on my test my big and my grand big were so disappointed in me they wouldn't talk to me. Them being disappointed, was the hardest part for me. For the one person who was supposed to be there for me to be so disappointed in me he couldn't even talk to me was torture for me. The moment they stopped talking to me was the most upsetting moment. Which means that if you don't cheat you'll be safe in what you do but if you do people will find out. James 4:17 says whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it for him is sin. Which means if you know you shouldn't cheat but you cheat anyway you're doing the wrong thing. Proverbs 12:22 says lying lips are an abomination to the Lord but those who act faithfully are in his delight, which means if you study and do what you know you should do you'll be fine but if you lie and cheat on your paper you'll fail or get caught. Proverbs 28:6 says better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways. Which means, if you can keep your integrity while doing everything that you need to do is better than to cheating and lying your way to the top. Proverbs 28:20 says a faithful man will be rich with blessings but whoever hastens to be rich will not go unpunished. Which means if you can study and be faithful to just learning the content that way you'll be fine but if you cheat your way to good grades or to a higher position you won't go unpunished, somebody will find out.Proverbs 16:28 a dishonest man spreads strife in a Whisperer separates close friends. which means if your friends with your teacher and you cheat on the test they could feel personally hurt for you not learning what you're supposed to learn and you could lose …show more content…
it could be cheating in the sense of marital cheating. it could also be the sense of cheating people out of money. whichever version of cheating you're talking about all the verses say one thing just don't. it's not welcome the Lord's eyes. cheating is frowned upon from other people just looking in. when you cheat you lose information that could be valuable to you in the future whether it's knowing about a certain person or knowing stuff for test. Cheating is wrong no matter how you put it. They are a lot of people that think that they can get away with cheating I was one of them with my test but everybody eventually gets caught. According to an article from Fox News magazine about 17% of divorces are caused by cheating and about 70% of married men admitted to cheating on their wives. according to Stanford. edu about 73% of all test takers including prospective graduate students and teachers agree that most students do cheat at some point and 86% of high school students agreed . Also from the same source says 64% of college students admitted to cheating in high school.With my personal experience cheating on my test it was the stupidest decision I've ever made. it almost cost me my future with Tau Kappa Epsilon. if it wasn't for my pledge brothers I wouldn't be getting the opportunity to write this paper to stay in and hopefully become a member myself. while I was cheating it never occurred to me that something like this could
