College athletes are a big part of society now today and I can argue that I think they deserve the privilege to get payed for there hard work. The student-athletes at colleges should get paid because they devote many hours of hard work to their sport. This means they they dedicate some of their free time to their sport. They could be doing homework or something for their classes but ¨no¨ they dedicate their time and hard work to the sport they love. Student-athletes are dedicated and theses sports are dangerous sometimes they have risk at career-ending injuries. This means that they have the risk to get severely injured and possibly lose their career without money they can't do anything else. They can lose everything because, these dedicated students risk everything on that field or court and if they were to get injured they would have very little money. …show more content…
This makes it seem like the NCAA is a very profitable business that can easily pay college athletes. Moreover, this shows that the business is earning a substantial amount of money and just a little bit of that can be given to the athletes that work day in and day out on their skills for the sport they participate in.
