So many ideas can pop into someone's mind when the word is acknowledged.ure, college can have benefits like earning more money and being more educated, but overall college does not live up to its expectations. It can lead to a lot of negatives in a person's life. By not attending college, people can get more experience than someone who decides to go to college. A college degree is not valuable because there is no guarantee for a high paying job, it is too stressful, and expensive. College does have a bright side to it, so getting a degree has slight value to it. By going to college and getting a degree, it leads to making more money than the average person. The article "Why College Isn't For Everyone" states "If the education is average and you chose a path like majoring in social work, of course, you won't make as much money as a person majoring in computer science." When college comes to mind, it is often associated with making a lot of money. The reality of college is that a person with a college degree can still get an average or below- average paying job. College is a waste of time, effort, and money to have only slight hope of getting a well-paying job. People should spend their time going to work, instead of sitting in a classroom going into more and more debt by the second. Take a stand against college graduates who are cocky, since they went to school a few more years than someone with a high school diploma. To be successful, college is not needed. For example, Steve Jobs did not go to college but died with millions and millions of dollars. Going to college is not the only way to have a bright future. There are still jobs out there, so why not get a headstart in the work world. At the end of the day, going to school for an extra four-plus years does not mean that those people will live life like
