“I found Rome a city of bricks and left it a city of marble.”- Augustus. Rome didn't fall because one thing happen. It failed because many thing happened. Many people ask themselves well how could Rome fall? If it had lasted more than a thousand years. Many historians think that because the split to eastern and western empire governed by different empires caused Rome to fall.
Another reason was the invasion by the German troops. This invasion is also called
“Barracks Emperors” period. This is when at least 20 emperors ruled Rome during the crisis. The problem with is that they all came from the monarchy of the military. This was more common in the period from 235 through 284, during the Crisis of the Third Century.

Not only was Rome under attack but also they were losing more money each day that past. Thanks to the severe financial problems. This caused many of the rich people to live to the countryside. Many of the rich class went to the countryside to set up their own business. Also with the movement of the rich the slaves went the rich seeking a new life.
This caused a problem for rulers of Rome because the depended on the slaves to work the field for trade.
Many people argue over the fact of that christianity had to do with fall of Rome. This because when christianity started spreading, many of the Roman value system value were lost. Also many pops and other elders got included in politics, which didn't help at all. Even though christianity didn’t have huge effect on the Romen falls.
In general when Rome fall, everything went badly. Also it was like a domino effect.
