For each philosopher, they wanted equality for the things they wanted to accomplish. There were four philosophers, they wanted equality for all, from either politics, religion, and economics to the people. Who were philosophers, well philosophers or philosophers, were public intellectuals who applied reason to the study of many areas of learning, including philosophy, history, science, politics, economics and social issues. The four philosophers, wanted the people to become equal in the things they found necessary to be equal in, though the higher standard of people thought it was rubbish. Voltaire wished equality from religion, so everyone can choose what religion they wanted to be as well as treat others equally.
