And why I choosed twenties?
Because Yesterday I was at one jazz club, jazz gained popularity in America and worldwide by the 1920s, and I tried to dance swing! But I'm not really good...
The music and dances were fast paced and energetic. Discotcheques were so better than now, they were dancing normally.

When I say twenties I imagine Charlie Chaplin. Movie stars were really stars, with huge salaries, the fashions and activities of the Hollywood greats echoed around the world.

What was it like to live in the 1920's?
There wasn't Internet, the most important thing in today's world. Reading was a popular recreational activity especially during the winter months when other forms of activity were limited. Prior to radio and television most people gained knowledge of the wider world and current events through printed material. Consequently books, newspapers and magazines were an important part of most peoples lives and formed a large part of their wider education. It was amazing. The children weren't sitting at the computer all day like today . They had plenty of time to do their hobby.

A popular design style of the 1920's was to use strong colors and geometric shapes. Hats, shoes, stockings, handbags, dresses and jewelry all came together in perfect harmony to create an elegant style that can only be appreciated when seen in real-life or in color illustrations. The vibrancy is lost in black and white photographs that typically showcase the era.

Everything seems better than it's today, except for medicine.
Medicine was much worse than now.Many of the major developments in medicine that we take for granted today had their genesis in the 1920's and have contributed to increasing overall life expectancy.

But I think it was a fascinating period of time. I would like to live at 1920's.
